Yellowstone

BREAKING: Yellowstone 1932 Prequel Trailer: Everything will be different!

Yellowstone: A Universe of Dramas and Secrets

Hey everyone! We all love to enjoy our favorite TV shows whenever we get the chance. One show that keeps us hooked time and time again is Yellowstone. With its creativity, acting, gripping storyline, and breathtaking scenery, this show is at the top of our list. Whenever we watch Yellowstone, we feel like we’ve been transported to another world – full of horses, local politics, and plenty of family drama.

Taylor Sheridan’s New Creations

Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, seems to have the same thought, as he has decided to develop several new series to expand the Yellowstone universe. One of these shows is 6666, a modern sequel set in Texas. Texas, often seen as the heart of Western life, gives Sheridan a new playground. Although the show is still in production, we’re sure it will be perfect for fans of country life.

Another show that has already been released and quickly became a fan favorite is 1883. This show is set in the 19th century and focuses on the post-Civil War years, a time of massive social change. People were ambitious, but resources were scarce, and there was a lack of authority. These circumstances led the Duttons on one of the most adventurous, but also tragic, journeys as they tried to move from Tennessee to the north. The show was sad, heartbreaking, but also extremely captivating.

The Journey Continues: 1932

Unfortunately, Sheridan had other plans and decided to develop a new prequel series called 1932 instead of continuing 1883 with a second season. Although production on 1932 hasn’t started yet, we can already say that this show will be very different from 1883. Sheridan explained his decision to leave 1883 as a standalone mini-series as follows:

“I created this window to show this one specific journey. I’m not someone who clears things up and explains how everyone lives happily ever after or not. I’d rather you imagine what happened to Thomas and Noemi. You see James and Margaret moving on, but that’s all I wanted to explore. Now, on to the next window. I wanted to create something that you can watch completely captivating and fulfilling without ever having seen Yellowstone. Yes, for Yellowstone fans, there are some real Easter eggs and insights you can take away from it.”

A New Era

In 1932, we will experience 50 years after the events of 1883. In those 50 years, the world has gone through a World War, a global economic crisis, and a Prohibition era. Sheridan, who loves to explore the characteristics of a particular era, will incorporate all of these elements into the show. It is likely that the protagonist, presumably John Dutton Sr., will have fought in World War I and suffer from a PTSD-like disorder. These dark themes could turn the show into an American version of Peaky Blinders, meaning it will be darker, grittier, and more brutal than its predecessors.

The Duttons: Unstoppable

Despite the dark initial mood, we believe that the show will gradually take a positive turn. The Duttons are known for making the best of adverse circumstances and ultimately emerging as winners. As the Dutton lands grow into a giant ranch, the show’s color palette will also shift from gray to orange, leaving behind the gray days.
