Mama June: Family Crisis celeb Jessica Shannon and her girlfriend, Shyann McCant, recently made a surprising announcement. They shared with fans that they are thinking about having a baby. Indeed, this is extremely exciting and a huge step in their relationship.
No doubt, there’s a lot to think about like getting a bigger place and all the things they would need for a baby. But, to get the ball rolling they must take the first step. Jessica is going to need help from someone close to her on Mama June: Family Crisis. And that is her little sis, Pumpkin Shannon.
Jessie Needs Pumpkin’s Help on WEtv
On a recent episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon shared a little bit of her and Shyann McCant’s journey into parenthood. They already have decided that Shyann will be the one to carry the baby and give birth.
Furthermore, they shared that they prefer to use a sperm donor that they know rather than someone anonymous. That way, they know what type of person the donor is. That leads us to the giant favor they’re about to ask Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon Efird.
They’re hoping she’ll agree to let her husband, Josh Efird, be their donor. That is, of course, if he’s ok with it. No doubt, he’s the perfect candidate. They know he is a wonderful father, husband, and overall great human being on Mama June: Family Crisis.
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that he’s easy on the eyes and has already made four beautiful children. But of course, Jessica is nervous to ask Pumpkin. She already tried once, but then they got bad news about their late sister, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell.
Her health had taken a drastic turn for the worst and Jessica didn’t feel it was the right time to bring the matter up to Pumpkin. But soon, they’re going to spread some of Anna’s ashes and hopefully get some closure. Then, it could be Jessie’s chance to talk to Pumpkin.
“Mama P” Blindsided on Mama June: Family Crisis
The final episode of season six of the hit reality show is this Friday, July 19, 2024. So, chances are, that’s when Jessica will spring her baby news on Pumpkin and ask for her and Josh’s help. No doubt, “Mama P” is sure to be thrown for a loop.
And she might be uncomfortable with Josh being their donor. But, most likely, she will be understanding and happy to help. In fact, in real time, they’ve probably already discussed this and Pumpkin has made her decision. So, hopefully, we will find out what her answer is before this season ends.
