EastEnders fans have been left raging at their screens as the soap appeared to confirm a beloved resident is about to get killed off
EastEnders fans are certain a beloved character is about to get killed off – and they are not happy about it.
As fans will recall, dying bad guy Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) has been hell-bent on taking down son Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) and ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) after finding out they were scheming to get their hands on the family empire.
As a result, Nish conjured up a plan that would see Vinny get arrested, as ultimate payback. During Monday’s episode (September 23) Nish revealed to associate Harti (Jason Kavan) that he was setting Vinny up for their money laundering scam in the chicken shops.
Nish later instructed Vinny to take a huge bag full of cash to a mysterious meeting to buy new premises. However, once Suki heard about it, she warned Vinny to dodge the meeting – but he ignored her.
Suki then met up with Harti and convinced him to tell her all about Nish’s plan – something Nish’s son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) saw. Meanwhile Nish was seen making a call to the police.
Fortunately, Vinny never went to the set up, later telling a panicked Suki later that he headed to the meeting but saw police swarming the area. An emotional Suki explained that Nish would do anything to make them pay, persuading Vinny to leave Walford by booking him a cab from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
Nish then suddenly turned up, demanding to see if Vinny was there. Luckily, he managed to hide from his abusive father and after Nish left, Vinny and Suki shared a heartfelt goodbye.
However, as Vinny was driven away in a taxi, it was revealed that it was Nish who was driving the car – sending viewers into a frenzy. Certain that Nish is about to murder Vinny, fans soon shared their thoughts online.
One person wrote on an EastEnders Facebook fan page, one person said: “Please don’t tell me nish kills vinny.” Someone else added: “Omg what’s going to happen to poor Vinny now.” A third chimed in and wrote: “Vinny’s dead now then.” Another person agreed: “OMG please don’t let him hurt Vinny.”
