An EastEnders villain may be set to face their comeuppance after a number of clues in a recent episode.
Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was left stunned when girlfriend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) got down on one knee to propose in the middle of the Queen Vic – though things didn’t pan out the way Eve had hoped.
When Suki failed to give her an answer, Eve fled the scene, leaving Suki even more confused by what was going through her head.
Suki was later confronted by Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), where she explained that she had felt overwhelmed by the prospect of a public proposal, especially considering that she only recently came out as a lesbian.
While Suki argued that she and Eve had a solid relationship, Stacey pointed out that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) had been winding her up for the past few days – ever since Ayesha arrived on the scene.
Ayesha was Suki’s first love, so it’s understandable that Eve would feel threatened.
However, Suki insisted that Eve was still the woman for her, and that she just needed to talk to her and explain everything.
Unfortunately, Eve was nowhere to be found, and Suki soon came face to face with Nish instead – who just couldn’t stop himself from taunting her.
Suki wasted no time in lashing out at her evil ex-husband, pushing him to the ground and promising to kill him if Eve didn’t come back.
When Nish pointed out that he was already dying, Suki insisted that it wasn’t quick enough, before storming off to wait for Eve.
Following the confrontation, Nish sat down with grandson Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and admitted that his dying wish was to have Suki beside him in his final moments.
Though Nugget pointed out that Suki hated him, Nish argued that God was good and would grant his final wish – but could Nish come to regret this?
Later, Suki received a text from Eve informing her that she wouldn’t be coming home that evening and was left devastated.
Having promised to kill Nish should this happen, will Suki end up murdering her ex-husband?
With Nish having wished for her to be by his side in his final moments, could he be set to die by her hand?
