An EastEnders favourite proposed to their beloved in recent scenes, following a run in with their partner’s bitter ex.
This week, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was left stunned when former love interest Ayesha (Laila Rouass) arrived in Albert Square, and it didn’t take long for current girlfriend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) to start feeling insecure.
As Suki and Ayesha caught up on their lost years, ex-husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) saw an opportunity to rile up Eve, as he explained that Ayesha was also a lesbian.

The next day, it was clear that Suki and Ayesha were getting on like a house on fire, and though Eve was trying her best to be supportive, it was clear that she was rattled.
During a chat with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Eve confessed how she was feeling, and Stacey was quick to assure her that Nish was just stirring things up.
It later became clear that she was right, when Nish approached Eve in the café and taunted her about how Suki had more in common with Ayesha because of their shared culture.
As Nish continued to stir, Eve made it clear that he wasn’t going to win, and soon came up with a plan when she spotted Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) struggling to sell his wife’s engagement ring.
